Call your vet, an emergency vet, or Pet Poison Helpline at (855) 764-7661 (or ASPCA at (888) 426-4435) immediately, even if she seems fine. If you can, bring a sample wrapped in a damp paper towel in a paper bag (not plastic), and take photos from all sides. Don't try to identify it yourself, and don't make her vomit at home.

No, treat any wild mushroom your dog eats as an emergency; some can kill a dog with a single mushroom, and they're very hard to tell apart.

Why wild mushrooms is toxic to dogs

Different mushroom species carry different toxins. Some attack the gut, some the nervous system, and the deadliest (such as Amanita) damage the liver and kidneys. A single mushroom can hold a lethal dose.

Signs to watch for after she eats wild mushrooms

Vomiting, diarrhea, drooling, weakness, stumbling, tremors, seizures, disorientation, an abnormal heartbeat, trouble breathing, black tarry stools, yellow gums or eyes (jaundice), and coma. Signs can start within 15 to 30 minutes or not until 24 hours later. Liver or kidney damage may not show for 2 to 3 days, so 'seems fine' doesn't mean she is.
