What to do if your dog ate too much fatty trimmings and fried food
If she got into a fatty meal, grease or fried leftovers, call your vet, especially if she's a small dog, a breed prone to pancreatitis like a Miniature Schnauzer, or has had pancreatitis before. Watch her closely for several days, because vomiting can start up to 4 days later. Call right away if she vomits, seems painful or won't eat. If she ate garlic-seasoned food or cooked bones, call your vet or Pet Poison Helpline at (855) 764-7661. Don't stop her food or water on your own unless your vet tells you to.
